YMCA Harrison Classic Kids Run Presented by Idaho Central Credit Union

Everyone who participates in the YMCA Harrison Classic is a winner! Take a run down Boise’s scenic Harrison Boulevard. This one-mile kids run and walk is all inclusive and family friendly. All participants will receive a t-shirt, medal and healthy snack at the end of the race!

The 2024 Harrison Classic will be on SATURDAY
October 5th
Packet Pick Up: Friday, Oct 4th from 4-7pm location TBD. We highly recommend early packet pick up to avoid the lines on Saturday afternoon.
Day of Race Pick Up: Saturday, Oct 5th on the corner of 17th and Good St. starting at 1:30pm.
Start: Drop off will take place on the corner of 17th and Good St. The Start line is on Harrison Blvd. just before Hill Road.
Finish: McAuley Park on Harrison Blvd. This is a 1 mile run down Harrison Blvd.
Starting Information: Please have kids dropped off no later than 2:45
3:00pm 10 and older
3:05pm 9 year olds
3:10pm 8 year olds
3:15pm 7 year olds
3:20pm 6 year olds
3:25pm 5 year olds
3:30pm 4 yrs old and younger
Teams & Schools Encouraged:
The school with the most students will win a prize for their PE program!
School Teams, Learning Pods, Neighborhood Team are all welcome to participate. Tell us your team name and encourage your friends to sign up.
Starting Line Location:
Kids start on Good St. between Harrison Blvd & 17th St. We use the Harrison Dental Parking Lot for race day packet pick up
Finish Line Location:
McAuley Park – Harrison & Resseguie St, 1665 N W Resseguie St. Boise.
Teams:
Create a team with friends from your school or a different school, neighborhood, or family! Come up with a fun team name and share it with your friends, get creative, and celebrate being active together. (You do not have to go to the same school to be on a team!)
School Prizes!
The school with the most students participating will receive a cash prize for its PE program. Be sure to tell us what school you attend!
