2025 Treasure Valley Family YMCA Famous Idaho Potato Marathon

Be a part of our biggest race of the year! Running the Famous Idaho Potato Marathon offers a unique opportunity to experience Boise’s scenic beauty while challenging yourself on a well-organized, supportive course. Join the fun with the 5K or 10K distances or push your limits with the half or full marathon. Connect with fellow runners and celebrate Idaho’s famous spuds! The Treasure Valley YMCA is proud to present the 48th annual YMCA Famous Idaho Potato Marathon and Fun Runs presented by the Idaho Potato Commission. All of our races take place on the flat and scenic Boise Greenbelt. This year, due to construction in the BSU Stadium, we will start and finish at the Morrison Center. 2025 Saint Alphonsus Capitol Classic Kid’s Run

Join us on May 18, 2025 for the 41st Saint Alphonsus Capitol Classic Kids Run! This beloved one-mile run is open to children ages 3-15 of all abilities. The event promotes health and well-being among the community's youth, with every participant receiving a commemorative medal and a stylish T-shirt. Hosted by Saint Alphonsus and the Treasure Valley Family YMCA, the Capitol Kids Classic is a cherished tradition that fosters community and encourages a healthy lifestyle. 2025 Treasure Valley Triathlon

The Treasure Valley Tri is the largest adaptive triathlon in the western United States! This crit-style race offers a thrilling experience, with the swim taking place in Quinn’s Pond, a scenic bike ride through Garden City, and a run along the greenbelt at Ester Simplot Park. This triathlon is open to participants of all abilities (para-tri friendly!) and includes a Youth Splash and Dash for the kiddos to join the fun. Save the Date for June 7, 2025! The aim of the series is to provide increased domestic competitive opportunities for the nation’s emerging paratriathletes. The Paratriathlon Nationals Qualifier Race Series provides paratriathletes and ATD1 athletes opportunities to race sprint distance races following USAT and World Triathlon paratriathlon competition rules
