Frequently Asked Questions About the New Downtown Boise YMCA
What is the status of construction on the new CapEd Downtown Boise Y?
The Y, alongside our construction team, was excited to be in a position to open the CapEd Downtown Boise Y ahead of our originally projected timeline. Everyone involved has worked incredibly hard to make that early opening possible, and we deeply appreciate the effort and commitment that has gone into this project.
We recently learned of a slight shift in the construction schedule due to unforeseen circumstances. As a result, we will need to adjust our opening to a date that more closely aligns with our original timeline.
While we do not yet have a confirmed date, we anticipate celebrating the grand opening of the CapEd Downtown Boise Y sometime between mid-December and early January. Our team is actively working to finalize the details and will share an updated opening date as soon as it is confirmed.
In the meantime, consistent with our original plans, the current Downtown Y will continue to serve our members and participants without interruption. We are grateful for your understanding and continued support, and we look forward to welcoming you to the new space very soon.
