Our Infant and Pre-K Programs offer dynamic and engaging experiences designed to nurture the development of young minds and promote positive growth. Each month, a variety of activities are offered focused on building essential life skills, creativity, teamwork, and physical wellness. Our programs combine hands-on learning, and recreational activities, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.

Parent/Child Groups (0-2)

Parent/child classes at the YMCA offer a variety of enriching experiences designed to support early development and foster community connections.

Storytime introduces infants and toddlers to the magic of stories, songs, and sensory activities, encouraging early literacy and bonding.
Arts and Crafts invites families to get creative together with simple, hands-on projects perfect for little ones.
Parent & Me Tumble is a playful introduction to movement for our youngest members, focusing on bonding through gentle stretching, rolling, and basic tumbling skills

For those looking to connect with others while staying active, the Stroller Walk Group (children 0-6) meets regularly at some YMCA locations for a casual walk around the area. Older children are welcome to enjoy the Youth Activity Center during these walk times, making it easy for caregivers to participate.

Pre-K Enrichment Activities

Program sessions are held monthly and offered at only $30 a month for members!

Creative Arts: Kids will explore a variety of fun, hands-on art projects while making new friends and expressing their creativity.
Little Chefs: Young cooks will mix, measure, and make simple dishes while learning basic kitchen skills in a playful, safe setting.
Little Monkeys: Children will build confidence and coordination as they climb and explore the YMCA climbing wall with trained staff support.
Little STEM Explorers: Budding scientists and engineers will dive into exciting, age-appropriate STEM activities that spark curiosity and discovery.
PeeWee Sports: Each month features a new sport to help kids stay active, build motor skills, and develop teamwork. Is your kiddo ready to dig deeper into their favorite sport? Check out our Rookie leagues.

KidZone (Ages 0-6)

At the YMCA, we know how important it is for parents to have time to focus on their wellness. Enter KidZone, a safe, clean, and nurturing space for little ones ages six weeks to six years.

While parents and teens enjoy a workout, swim, or class, children will be cared for by our trained staff in an engaging environment filled with age-appropriate toys, activities, and plenty of smiles.

For everyone’s safety, parents and guardians are required to remain on-site while their child is in our care.
