Hosted by CBH Homes and the Treasure Valley YMCA, this festive event invites runners and walkers to enjoy a scenic 1-mile or 5K course along the Boise Greenbelt. Whether you’re racing with your sweetheart, your family, or flying solo, this run is all about spreading joy and heart-healthy fun.     Be a part of our biggest race of the year! Running the Famous Idaho Potato Marathon offers a unique opportunity to experience Boise’s scenic beauty while challenging yourself on a well-organized, supportive course. The Treasure Valley YMCA is proud to bring you the 49th annual YMCA Famous Idaho Potato Marathon and Fun Runs presented by the Idaho Potato Commission.   • 2026 Saint Alphonsus Capitol Classic Kid’s Run

    Join us for the 42nd Saint Alphonsus Capitol Classic Kids Run! This beloved one-mile run is open to children 15 under. Our course begins in front of the State Capitol, with participants racing down Jefferson, up Bannock and back to Cecil D. Andrus Park. The event promotes health and well-being among the community's youth, with every participant receiving a commemorative medal and a stylish T-shirt. Hosted by  Saint Alphonsus and the Treasure Valley Family YMCA, the Capitol Classic Kids Run is a cherished tradition that fosters a sense of community and encourages a healthy lifestyle.   • 2026 Treasure Valley Triathlon

    The Treasure Valley Tri is the largest adaptive triathlon in the western United States! This crit-style race offers a thrilling experience, with the swim taking place in Quinn’s Pond, a scenic bike ride through Garden City, and a run along the greenbelt at Esther Simplot Park. This triathlon is open to participants of all abilities (para-tri friendly!) and includes a Youth Splash and Dash for the kiddos to join the fun. Save the Date for June 6, 2026! The aim of the series is to provide increased domestic competitive opportunities for the nation’s emerging paratriathletes. The Paratriathlon Nationals Qualifier Race Series provides paratriathletes and ATD1 athletes opportunities to race sprint distance races following USAT and World Triathlon paratriathlon competition rules
