    Hop into spring at the YMCA’s 1st Annual Easter Race! Join us on Saturday, April 4, 2026, for a celebration of fitness, family, and fun. Choose between a 1-Mile Fun Run or a 5K, and enjoy an interactive egg hunt along the course. Each egg holds a special number you can redeem for prizes at the finish line! Whether you’re racing for a personal best or hopping along with the family, this event is all about coming together, getting active, and embracing the joy of community.     Join us to celebrate Earth Day with a reptile show at the SO|ME Amp! This is a free family fundraiser for all ages! All the proceeds will go to benefit the YMCA adaptive and inclusive THRIVE Program. Presented in Partnership with ICCU and SO|ME Amp About THRIVE: What is THRIVE? THRIVE (Together Helping Realize Inclusive Victories Everyday) provides specialized programming for neurodiverse youth and adults, including sensory-based camps, STEAM, cooking, adaptive movement, and life skills development. Our THRIVE center is unique to the Tomlinson Facility, and it provides play space and programming for neuro diverse individuals. THRIVE also offers music therapy, life skills classes, therapeutic aquatic sessions, adaptive dance, and adaptive group exercise. Many of our THRIVE participants are able to utilize the Y through the financial assistance we provide. About Corbin Maxey: Corbin Maxey is a nationally recognized animal expert, YouTuber and television personality. Corbin has been surrounded by wildlife for as long as he can remember. He spent the majority of his childhood in the mountains of southern Idaho where he spent his days observing snakes, lizards, frogs and toads. The Treasure Valley YMCA is proud to bring you the 49th annual YMCA Famous Idaho Potato Marathon and Fun Runs presented by the Idaho Potato Commission.   • 2026 Saint Alphonsus Capitol Classic Kid’s Run

    Join us for the 42nd Saint Alphonsus Capitol Classic Kids Run! This beloved one-mile run is open to children 15 under. Our course begins in front of the State Capitol, with participants racing down Jefferson, up Bannock and back to Cecil D. Andrus Park. The event promotes health and well-being among the community's youth, with every participant receiving a commemorative medal and a stylish T-shirt. Hosted by  Saint Alphonsus and the Treasure Valley Family YMCA, the Capitol Classic Kids Run is a cherished tradition that fosters a sense of community and encourages a healthy lifestyle.   • 2026 Treasure Valley Triathlon

    The Treasure Valley Tri is the largest adaptive triathlon in the western United States! This crit-style race offers a thrilling experience, with the swim taking place in Quinn’s Pond, a scenic bike ride through Garden City, and a run along the greenbelt at Esther Simplot Park. This triathlon is open to participants of all abilities (para-tri friendly!) and includes a Youth Splash and Dash for the kiddos to join the fun. Save the Date for June 6, 2026!
