Alexis Danes – 2025 Civic Engagement Scholarship Recipient

Alexis is made of the stuff of heroes. Growing up in a family where service to others is the norm, it’s no
surprise that Alexis plans to carry on the tradition. When she was just 16 she took on a role well beyond
her years through the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP). Working alongside first responders, she
provides immediate emotional aid to survivors of trauma. It requires strong and quiet leadership to help
someone on the worst day of their life. On top of that, she is an outstanding student who looks forward
to studying astrophysics, hoping to find answers and solutions to humanity’s problems on earth.

Alexis will be graduating from Timberline High School and plans to attend Boise State University.
