Gabriela Vera – Winner of 2026 Y-Not Go On Scholarship

Gabriela is an outstanding student whose academic excellence is matched by her ability to lift up everyone around her. She has taken on one of the most rigorous course loads available at Vallivue High School, including numerous AP and dual-credit courses, earning her close to an associate’s degree before she even leaves high school. Beyond academics, she has served as Debate Captain, AVID President, and Senior Class Representative, and has logged over 100 community service hours. Her teachers describe her as intellectually curious and collaborative, someone who elevates group discussions by inviting others to contribute their own perspectives.

Gabriela will be graduating from Vallivue High School and plans to attend Washington State University to study International Business.
