STARS opens two new Treasure Valley locations—and importance of regular exercise!!
This is a busy month for Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS)! We are excited to be opening two new STARS locations this month. We understand how important location is when determining where you are going for physical therapy. Often times, patients are attending therapy two to three times a week; we want to ensure there is a clinic location that is convenient for you!
Our new Meridian clinic located at Talus Medical Plaza will be open July 9th offering general orthopedic services, pool therapy and neurological rehabilitation. The therapists who will staff that location are Jason Keel, DPT, OCS, CSMT and Shannon Hietschold, DPT, OCS. Both Jason and Shannon are highly trained and accomplished physical therapists.
Our new Boise location is at Bown Crossing and will be opening July 20th inside the new Saint Alphonsus Medical Group building off of Park Center. Peter Kolb, DPT will be at this location. Peter has an extensive sports medicine background and is a very experienced and skilled physical therapist.
At Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS) we understand that injuries past or present can play a role in a person’s ability to participate in regular, ongoing physical activity. If you are suffering from pains/strains due to an injury or overuse, perhaps visiting a physical therapist would be beneficial. STARS will work with you to promote mobility, functional ability, quality of life and movement potential through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention by a physical therapist.
Exercising daily plays a crucial role in the process of healing and recovering from injury or disease. Stretching and strengthening activities, balance, joint control, and muscle re-training are types of important physical therapy exercises.
