Earth Day: Wild about THRIVE with Corbin Maxey
Join us to celebrate Earth Day with a reptile show at the SO|ME Amp! This is a free family fundraiser for all ages! All the proceeds will go to benefit the YMCA adaptive and inclusive THRIVE Program. Presented in Partnership with ICCU and SO|ME Amp About THRIVE: What is THRIVE? THRIVE (Together Helping Realize Inclusive Victories Everyday) provides specialized programming for neurodiverse youth and adults, including sensory-based camps, STEAM, cooking, adaptive movement, and life skills development. Our THRIVE center is unique to the Tomlinson Facility, and it provides play space and programming for neuro diverse individuals. THRIVE also offers music therapy, life skills classes, therapeutic aquatic sessions, adaptive dance, and adaptive group exercise. Many of our THRIVE participants are able to utilize the Y through the financial assistance we provide. About Corbin Maxey: Corbin Maxey is a nationally recognized animal expert, YouTuber and television personality. Corbin has been surrounded by wildlife for as long as he can remember. He spent the majority of his childhood in the mountains of southern Idaho where he spent his days observing snakes, lizards, frogs and toads.
