From high-intensity training and strength classes to mindful practices and ForeverWell programs for active older adults, YMCA group exercise brings people together to move with purpose and have fun doing it.
Youth, adults, and families alike can take part in classes tailored to meet a variety of health needs and fitness levels. Every class is built on our belief that wellness is for everybody. We offer supportive, adaptable workouts that foster confidence, connection, and lasting well-being. Join us and discover your new favorite way to move!

New to group exercise classes?
No problem! Our welcoming instructors will help you get started and offer modifications to suit your personal goals. Let your instructor know you’re new, and they will set you up for success. We have new participants every day, don’t be shy! Water bottles are recommended. Some classes need mats, but we do provide some mats to share for newcomers. Closed-toe, athletic/fitness shoes are required for some classes and recommended for most. Please don’t hesitate to ask a YMCA staff member for help or more information on how to prepare for class.
In most classes, modifications can be adapted for all levels. Speak to your instructor to customize your workout.

Group Exercise for Youth
Youth ages 8-9 years, accompanied by an adult, may participate in Zumba.
Youth 10-14 years, accompanied by a parent can participate in most group fitness classes however they are not permitted to utilize weights or any version of weights.
Youth 15 and older can participate in any group fitness class.
All persons inside a group exercise class or studio must be able to participate and use equipment properly. For safety, no person shall be allowed to sit inside the studio to observe. An exception is made only for the aides that attend for our special needs’ population

BOOTCAMP is total body strength training that challenges all areas of the body and builds strength and fitness through a variety of intense intervals. You can expect to use bodyweight, and a variety of non-traditional fitness equipment like dumbbells and medicine balls through a workout aimed at cardio, core strength, and flexibility.
WAKE YOUR BODY BOOTCAMP
WAKE YOUR BODY BOOTCAMP wakes you up with new exercises and new moves every single day. This class will challenge your muscles, heart, and lungs by combining cardio exercises, muscle strengthening, balance, and flexibility. You’ll leave feeling energized, refreshed, and stronger after each workout. A workout designed for everyBODY!
YOUTH FIT
YOUTH FIT is a class for ages 10- to 14-year-olds focused on balance, agility, coordination, speed, stamina, endurance, flexibility, athleticism, and core strength using a variety of movements, including functional fitness. This class is held 2 times a week for 45 minutes during this 4-week session.

Strengthen your foundation with targeted classes that build stability, improve posture, and power everyday movement
CORE FOCUS TOGETHER
CORE FOCUS TOGETHER is a dynamic 30-minute class to train your muscles and body to work in harmony. A strong core, from your shoulders to your hips, provides the foundation for all of life’s movements. Whether you want to improve your athletic performance, prevent back pain, or increase your balance and stability, this class will help get you there.
LES MILLS™ CORE
LES MILLS™ CORE is a 30-minute core-training workout that uses your body weight, resistance tubing and weights to tighten and tone your midsection. Exercises are designed to improve your functional strength for better mobility and injury prevention.
CYCLING
From freestyle to specialized classes that blend cycling with strength training, find a format that suits your preferences and helps you achieve your fitness goals.
CYCLE
CYCLE is a free-style, non-choreographed cycle class that offers a wide variety of motivating music and several terrain options to get you to the finish line.
CYCLE + BARRE
CYCLE + BARRE is a fusion of the heart pumping cardio of cycle and muscle burning toning of barre, the perfect combo to help class fly by! You will start class in the cycle studio and move to the studio next door to finish class on the mat.
CYCLE BOOT CAMP
CYCLE BOOT CAMP is a great one-stop fitness shop! The class will use high-intensity intervals on the bike to maximize your cardio, then transition to the floor and use hand weights/bodyweight to build strength for a complete fun workout.
CYCLE CORE
CYCLE CORE will get your heart rate up on a cycle bike with some great music! The class incorporates 35 minutes of cycling and then an energetic switch to 20 minutes of HIIT Core.
CYCLE FIT
CYCLE FIT will get your heart rate up on a cycle bike with some great music! The class incorporates dumbbell weights used throughout class, along with a cycle workout to provide an all-body fitness experience!
CYCLE TOGETHER
CYCLE TOGETHER is a 60-minute cycling experience brought indoors. Roll over hills, chase the pack, spin the flats, climb mountains, and sprint to the finish. You’ll feel the thrill of energetic music and group dynamics as you get all the benefits of authentic interval training.

BODYJAM™
BODYJAM™ is a dance-based workout designed to get you moving fast and working your body. Taking inspiration from dancers all over the world, and mixing it up with House, Hip-hop, Drum ‘n’ Bass, Trap, and all styles of electronic dance music, BODYJAM brings a dose of soul to your studio. At the same time, it’s a killer workout that burns calories and builds cardio fitness with every class.
BODY STRENGTH BY OULA FITNESS
BODY STRENGTH BY OULA FITNESS is a bodyweight, no-equipment workout that helps improve your mind/muscle connection. It is a full-body workout that starts on the mat with mobility. Then transitions to muscle activation and strength exercises that hit the upper body, lower body, and core. The middle portion of the work out is full body, standing cardio and strength. We finish on the mat with a final round of isolated muscle work. Oula Power is designed with variations that make it accessible for beginners and challenging for experienced exercisers.

CORE AND STABILITY
CORE AND STABILITY will focus on strength, stability, and balance. The class will incorporate the use of chairs, floor mats, weights, balls, bands, and Bosu. The class will begin with a warmup and stretching, followed by core and strength work, ending with stability.

FOREVERWELL CARDIO MIX will give you an energizing, heart-pumping workout with moves that are gentle on the joints. HEALTHY LUNGS AND HEART
HEALTHY LUNGS AND HEART is a very low-impact class that focuses on transitioning from cardiac rehab and improving cardiovascular and pulmonary function through light cardio, strength, and flexibility training. Blood pressure readings are taken at each class gathering.
HOT HULA FITNESS®
HOT HULA FITNESS® is a fun, new, and exciting dance workout providing a total body workout in 60 minutes. HOT HULA fitness isolates your larger muscle groups, increasing strength and definition to your core with specific emphasis on the abs, glutes, quads, and arms. Inspired by the dances of the Pacific Islands, HOT HULA fitness incorporates easy-to-perform dance movements set to the sounds of traditional Polynesian drum beats fused with funky Reggae music, resulting in a modern, hip fitness workout.
SILVER SNEAKERS STABILITY
SILVER SNEAKERS STABILITY will help you get stronger and improve your balance through exercises that strengthen the ankle, knee, and hip joints, all in a fun and social setting. This class is designed specifically for fall prevention. Silver Sneakers Stability is a drills and skills class designed to improve balance, agility, mobility, and power in older adults. All functional movement requires an effective balance system to successfully execute daily activities, from walking down the street, to dancing, to executing a squat. A class like Stability will improve your confidence and independence.
INTRO TO LINE DANCING
INTRO TO LINE DANCING is a choreographed dance class where a group of people dance in lines or rows to a repeating sequence of steps while facing the same direction or each other. This intro-level class will get you comfortable with the moves and style of line dancing.
LINE DANCE-A-THON
LINE DANCE-A-THON offers a fun opportunity for our line dancers to enjoy their favorite dances! Participants can submit requests for any dance in advance, and then our instructors will provide a quick lesson before we hit the floor. Our goal is to cover at least 12 dances in one 2-hour session. While the class is designed for improvers and above, we may also include a few popular beginner dances for everyone to enjoy.
LINE DANCING
LINE DANCING invites you to put on your dancing shoes and get ready to have a great time learning new line dances with friends! You don’t need any prior experience, just a willingness to try! We’ll kick things off with some basic steps before moving on to combinations and complete 4-wall dances.

MOVEMENT & MOBILITY is designed specifically for anyone needing to improve their range of motion, balance, and strength, and to mitigate the risk of falls. This program empowers anyone with a movement disorder diagnosis or anyone with limited mobility to lead active, vibrant lives with confidence and resilience.
SENIOR POWER HOUR
SENIOR POWER HOUR is designed to improve the lives of active seniors using all the best elements of fitness (everything from dance to strength training, yoga, and Pilates). Your instructor combines low-impact cardiovascular training, strength work, mobility, and stretching to help you maintain an active, fulfilling life. A chair is offered for support as needed. Some work is on the floor but can be adapted to the chair.
SHiNE LIGHT
SHiNE LIGHT is a program of SHiNE Dance Fitness specializing in low-impact and simplified choreography. SHiNE LIGHT uses all the same routines you find in SHiNE, but we reduce impact, increase stability, and modify the moves to meet your needs. You don’t have to be a rockstar to take this class, but you just might feel like one by the time you leave. Rock on!
TAI CHI
TAI CHI is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.
TAI CHI FOUNDATIONS
TAI CHI FOUNDATIONS will teach you the 8 foundational moves to be successful in a Tai Chi class. We will work on foot patterns, syncing arm movements, breathing, and putting it all together in a flow format. This workshop is designed for beginners who have never done tai chi; or those who have some tai chi knowledge but need more help with the specifics of the form. Regular practice of tai chi improves our balance, regulates energy flow, improves joint function, and promotes a sense of calm and peace for a greater sense of well-being.
TRX STRENGTH, BALANCE, STRETCH
TRX STRENGTH, BALANCE, STRETCH is portioned into class sections that use the TRX to increase strength, balance, and core stability, then to gently stretch and increase flexibility.
YO-FLOW FUSION
YO-FLOW FUSION is a mat-based strength workout dynamically flowing together the best of yoga and Pilates into a fun and sweaty workout! We fuse our moves in this beginner to intermediate class, aimed at learning proper form to be safe while strengthening our core, balance, mobility, and flexibility. Chairs can be nearby if needed. HIIT
Push your limits with fast-paced, high-intensity interval workouts designed to build strength, speed, and endurance
ATHLETE30
ATHLETE30 is a 30-minute, hard-hitting interval training session that will create well-rounded athletes and competitors, ready for game day and every day. Power is trained through deceleration, acceleration, agility, speed, quickness, and plyometric drills. Strength is improved by focusing on endurance, agile strength, odd-position strength, and dead strength.
BODYATTACK™
BODYATTACK™ is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater to total beginners and total addicts alike. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging, and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. A LES MILLS™ instructor will pump out energizing tunes and lead you through the workout—challenging your limits in a good way.
BODYATTACK™ EXPRESS
BODYATTACK™ EXPRESS includes all the high-energy moves you love from BODYATTACK in a quick 30-minute burst.
HIIT

POWER YOGA
POWER YOGA is a dynamic style of yoga that’s focused on building strength and endurance. Power Yoga requires mindfulness and focus on your breathing, but is more dynamic than meditative forms of yoga. It provides a good cardio and strength-training workout. Expect to sweat and push your limits in this class.
RESTORATIVE YOGA
RESTORATIVE YOGA is a gentle, slow-paced yoga practice that aims to achieve physical, mental, and emotional relaxation through stillness and comfort. It’s suitable for all levels of experience and flexibility and can help with stress, anxiety, insomnia, and other common ailments.
SLOW FLOW YOGA
SLOW FLOW YOGA uses attention and breath to move through the yoga poses (asanas) to improve balance, reduce stress, and increase body awareness and flexibility. In Slow Flow class, you will practice about half the number of poses you might practice in a regular yoga flow class. The pace is meditative, emphasizing peace and calm in body and mind. We hold poses longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose.
VINYASA YOGA
VINYASA YOGA is a creative, flowing style of yoga that connects breath to movement through a sequence of poses. This practice cultivates strength, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness. Each movement is linked to an inhalation or exhalation, creating a rhythmic and meditative experience.
YIN YOGA
YIN YOGA is a slow meditative practice that targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, and ligaments in the body. Postures are held longer using props with little muscle engagement.

YOGA FOUNDATION AND ALIGNMENT
YOGA FOUNDATION AND ALIGNMENT are at a slower pace and have longer holds with emphasis on alignment and breath. The class includes standing postures, floor stretches, and core work. The last class of each month is restorative which emphasizes supported deep stretches. All levels are welcome and must be able to get down and up from the floor unassisted.

CARDIO WAVE is a 50-minute pool workout rotating between blocks of cardio/aerobic movements and core exercises. Class is held in the shallow end of the 50-meter pool (cold pool). The resistance of the water will offer you opportunities to really challenge yourself to accelerate and add power to your moves.
DEEP CHALLENGE
DEEP CHALLENGE is held in the deep end of our 50-meter pool. Using a flotation belt for buoyancy, you will focus on maintaining a strong core while you move through the water. The resistance of the water will offer opportunities to challenge yourself to accelerate and add power to your moves. You will get a cardio and strength challenge in this class. Great for intermediate and advanced levels.
FRESH START
FRESH START teaches the basics of water fitness movements and encourages the participant to move at their own pace. After being part of the class or a few sessions, exercisers can move through the more advanced cardio moves. This class is a stepping stone for more advanced water exercise classes that you can take. Class is held in the deep end of the pool.

Participation may lead to increased self-confidence and independence, decreased risk of falls, minimized fatigue, reduced rigidity, and improved mobility.
ROCK STEADY BOXING
ROCK STEADY BOXING is a one-of-a-kind program providing a uniquely effective form of physical exercise to people who are living with Parkinson’s. This non-contact, boxing-inspired fitness routine is proving to dramatically improve the ability of people with Parkinson’s to live independent lives. Training classes include an exercise program that attacks Parkinson’s at its vulnerable neurological points while focusing on overall fitness.

MOVEMENT FOR MEMORY offers targeted interventions to maintain cognitive function, improve physical health, and enhance overall quality of life. While there is no cure for dementia, there are interventions available to help improve the quality of life and functioning that are covered in this program.

ONCOLOGY RECOVERY PROGRAM shifts the emphasis away from a cancer diagnosis and participants move beyond cancer in spirit, mind, and body.
